Mumbai, Dec 26 (PTI) Copper prices moved up modestly in thin trade at the non-ferrous metal market here today on mild industrial support.
Meanwhile, copper utensil scrap and brass utensil scrap both eased on lower offtake from consumer industries.
Copper armiture gained by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 441 from Saturday''s closing level of Rs 438.
Copper cable scrap, copper wire bar and copper sheet cutting all went up by Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 455, Rs 483 and Rs 436 respectively from Rs 453, Rs 481 and Rs 434 previously.
Copper scrap heavy edged up by a rupee to Rs 448.
However, Copper utensil scrap and brass utensil scrap both softened by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 420 and Rs 306 from last weekend close.
