NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — Treasury prices erased gains Tuesday, leaving 10-year yields at a three-week high, with little to drive movement in very thin trading volumes, analysts said.
On tap in the U.S. are data on U.S. home prices for October, scheduled for release at 9 a.m. Eastern time, and a report on consumer confidence in December at 10 a.m.
Yields on 10-year notes 10_YEAR -1.28% , which move inversely to prices, fell as low as 2% before recovering to 2.03%, little changed on the day. It’s their highest level on a closing basis since Dec. 9.
