RTRS:Non-residents can hedge rupee overseas borrowing - RBI
(Reuters) - The Reserve Bank of India on Thursday said non-residents can hedge their currency risks for external commercial borrowings denominated in rupees.
In September, the RBI had permitted overseas borrowing in the local currency from foreign equity holders.
