WSJ:Key US Dollar Libor Unchanged, Euro Rate Falls
LONDON (Dow Jones)--The cost of borrowing dollars for three months in the London interbank market was unchanged Friday, while the corresponding euro rate eased.
The cost of borrowing sterling rose.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, or Libor, was unchanged from Thursday at 0.581%.
The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and overnight index swaps, a barometer of market stress, widened to 49.5 basis points from 49.3 basis points.
Sterling borrowing costs for three months rose to 1.08006% from 1.07869%, while the euro rate fell to 1.29214% from 1.30429% Thursday.
