BLBG:Turkey Dollar Sales May Be $300-$400 Mln, Garanti’s Comert Says
The Turkish central bank is estimated to have sold between $300 and $400 million, Tufan Comert, strategist at Garanti Securities, said by telephone.
The bank sold dollars for liras in the Istanbul market today for a second day, two traders with knowledge of the sales said on condition of anonymity.
