RTTN:Eurozone Construction Output Rebounds In November
(RTTNews) - Construction production in the euro area increased from last year in November, after contracting in the previous month, data released by statistical office Eurostat showed Wednesday.
Construction production increased 0.2 percent on an annual basis in November, recovering from the 2.5 percent decrease seen in October. In EU27, construction output moved up 0.7 percent annually, following the previous month's 1.4 percent decrease.
Building construction increased 0.5 percent annually in the euro area, while civil engineering construction fell by 2.6 percent.
Among member states, output increased 9.9 percent year-on-year in Germany, while it moved up 1 percent in France.
Month-on-month, construction output moved up 0.8 percent in November, after falling 1.4 percent in the previous month.
