(RTTNews) - The price of gold was trading flat in Asian trading Friday after U.S. inflation held steady, helping the U.S. dollar.
Gold for February delivery, the most actively traded contract, edged up $3.00 to $1,657.50 an ounce. Yesterday, gold ended lower even as the U.S. dollar slipped back to a 2-week low versus the euro and to a weekly low against sterling.
