LONDON (Dow Jones)--The cost of borrowing dollars, sterling, and euros for three months in the London interbank market fell Monday.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, or Libor, was fixed at 0.54685%, down from 0.55110% Friday.
The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and overnight index swaps, a barometer of market stress, narrowed to 45.8 basis points from 46.3 basis points.
Sterling borrowing costs for three months fell to 1.08300% from 1.08456%, while the euro rate fell to 1.06514% from 1.07057% Friday.
