LONDON (Dow Jones)--The cost of borrowing dollars, sterling, and euros for three months in the London interbank market fell Friday.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, or Libor, was fixed at 0.52700%, down from 0.53060% Thursday.
The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and overnight index swaps, a barometer of market stress, narrowed to 41.9 basis points from 42.8 basis points.
Sterling borrowing costs for three months fell to 1.07738% from 1.08019%, while the euro rate fell to 1.03171% from 1.03971% Thursday.
