MW:Stock futures retain losses after jobless claims

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures remained lower Thursday after the government reported claims for unemployment fell by 5,000 last week to 348,000, the lowest level in more than four years. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJM2 -0.47% were off 60 points at 13,006. Those for the S&P 500 SPM2 -0.57% declined 7.5 points to 1,390. Those for the Nasdaq 100 NDM2 -0.48% lost 12 points to 2,723.25.
