Forexpros - Gold futures were higher in European trade on Friday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for April delivery traded at USD1650.85 a troy ounce at time of writing rising 0.51%.
It earlier traded at a session high USD1654.85 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1627.75 and resistance at USD1669.85.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.37% to trade at USD79.67.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for May delivery rose 1.05% to trade at USD31.675 a troy ounce while Copper for May delivery rose 1.20% to trade at USD3.811 a pound.
