SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures edged higher, while oil futures wavered between small losses and gains Friday, finding support from some weakness in the U.S. dollar ahead of the latest data on home sales. Gold for April delivery GCJ2 +0.74% rose $12, or 0.7%, at $1,654.50 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. May crude oil CLK2 +0.23% traded at $105.43 a barrel on Nymex, up 8 cents, or 0.1%.
