NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock-index futures remained modestly ahead on Friday after economic reports had consumer spending rising 0.8% and income up 0.2% in February. Analysts surveyed by MarketWatch projected spending would climb 0.7% and income would rise 0.4%. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJM2 +0.42% climbed 53 points to 13,131. Those for the S&P 500 SPM2 +0.36% added 6.1 point to 1,404.30. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 NDM2 +0.53% rose 11.25 points to 2,769.50.
