WSJ:Key US Dollar Libor Rises; Sterling, Euro Rates Fall
LONDON (Dow Jones)--The cost of borrowing dollars for three months in the London interbank market rose Tuesday, while the sterling and euro rates fell.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, or Libor, was 0.46915%, up from 0.46815% Monday.
The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and overnight index swaps, a barometer of market stress, narrowed to 33.8 basis points from 34.3 basis points.
Sterling borrowing costs fell to 1.02375% from 1.02563%, while the euro rate fell to 0.67450% from 0.67529% Monday.
