ECM: Canadian Dollar Exchange Rates: Speech by Governor Carney is being
The Canadian dollar (Currency:CAD) was seen strengthening materially yesterday, gaining 0.8% on the US dollar from Friday’s close and outperforming on most of its crosses. This strength appears to have seeped into today:
The pound Canadian dollar exchange rate is 0.28 pct down on Monday's close, GBP-CAD is at 15834 at 14:13 BST.
The euro Canadian dollar exchange rate is 0.06 pct down at 1.3191.
The US dollar to Canadian dollar exchange rate is 0.04 pct down at 0.9902.
Today, it has retraced some of yesterday’s gains, and continues to trade within its narrow 210 point nine‐week range (0.9842 to 1.0052).
