ENM: British pound slips against the euro and US currency today as risk appetite on global markets deteriorates
Looking at the currency markets, we see the British pound (Currency:GBP) has slipped against the euro and the US dollar today.
"The British Pound has slipped against the Euro and the U.S Dollar today, falling for a 20-week high versus the U.S currency on a wider deterioration in risk appetite, despite a report this morning that showed UK construction expanded at the fastest pace in 21-months in March," says Adam Solomon, head trader at foreign exchange services firm TorFx.
