EQ: Crude oil rebounds on business data
 
NEW YORK, Apr 2, 2012 (UPI via COMTEX) --
Crude oil prices rebounded to $105 per barrel Monday on strong data from the U.S. manufacturing sector.
U.S. manufacturing grew in March for the 32st consecutive month, growing at a faster pace than February, the latest Manufacturing Institute of Supply Manager's Report On Business said.
The headline manufacturing index registered 53.4 percent, climbing above February's 52.4 percent.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, May delivery crude oil climbed from an early-morning prices of $102.68 per barrel to $105.06. Home heating oil gained 0.15 cents to $3.2511 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline added 0.13 cents to $3.3835 per gallon.
Natural gas prices lost 0.8 cents to $2.144 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline was unchanged from Sunday's $3.925, AAA said.
