BLBG:Oil Rises as Much as 0.4% in New York; Poised for Weekly Decline
Oil for May delivery rose as much as 45 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $102.72 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange at 1:26 p.m. Sydney time. It fell 0.4 percent yesterday to $102.27, the lowest close since April 10.
The May contract expires today. The more-actively traded June future rose 39 cents to $103.11 a barrel. Front-month prices are down 0.1 percent this week.
