WSJ:Key US Dollar Libor Unchanged; Sterling, Euro Rates Fall
LONDON (Dow Jones)--The cost of borrowing dollars for three months in the London interbank market was unchanged Wednesday, while the sterling and euro rates fell.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed that the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, or Libor, was fixed at 0.46585%, the same level as Tuesday.
The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and overnight index swaps, a barometer of market stress, narrowed to 32.5 basis points from 32.7 basis points.
Sterling borrowing costs eased to 1.01125% from 1.01250%, while the euro rate fell to 0.62929% from 0.63686% Tuesday.
