MW:U.S. stock futures extend gains after jobless data

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock-index futures added to their advance Thursday after the government's tally of Americans who filed for jobless benefits last week fell by 27,000 to 365,000. Separately, another report had U.S. productivity falling 0.5% in the first quarter. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 36 points to 13,240. Futures for the S&P 500 climbed 4.7 points to 1,402.20. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 added 10 points to 2,737.50.
