PHENIX CITY, AL - A manager at the Dollar Tree was robbed after closing up shop Wednesday night.
Police responded to a robbery call at the business' Highway 280 location.
The manager told officers that after closing the business, she was walking to her vehicle in the parking lot. That's when she was approached by a man wearing a mask.
The suspect demanded she give him the bag she was carrying. He then snatched the bag and took off on foot.
Phenix City Police units set up a perimeter and caught the two men involved in the theft four blocks from the scene.
Aaron Shockley, 22, of Columbus and Andre Khalil Simpson, 20, also of Columbus were arrested and charged with robbery 2nd degree.
The offenders are currently being held at the Prentiss Griffith Detention Facility.
