NEW DELHI: After a two-day decline, base metal prices rebounded by up to Rs 3 per kg in the local non-ferrous metals market today largely on the back of a firming global trend.
Sentiment turned better after copper gained in global markets as rising premium for immediate-delivery metal in China signaled a revival in demand.
Meanwhile, copper for the delivery in three months advanced 0.4 per cent to $ 8,263.50 a tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap, zing ingot, lead ingot and lead imported were up by Rs 2 each to Rs 394, Rs 115-121, Rs 128 and Rs 126 per kg, respectively.
Nickel (4x4) followed suit and edged up by Rs 3 to Rs 1,080-1,082 per kg.

Lead ingot 128, lead imported 126, aluminium ingots 124, sheet cutting 126, aluminium wire scrap 130 and aluminium utensils scrap 125.
