RTTN:Dollar Strengthens Amid US CPI, Retail Sales And Empire Manufacturing Data
(RTTNews) - The U.S. retail sales and consumer price index data-both for April and the New York Federal Reserve's empire state manufacturing survey for May have been released at 8:30 am ET and the US dollar edged higher against its major counterparts following the data. As of 8:32 am ET, the greenback was trading at 1.2837 against the euro, 0.9359 against the Swiss franc, 1.6050 against the pound and 80.03 against the yen.
