BLBG:Gold Fields Says First Quarter Profit Fell, Beats Estimate
Gold Fields Ltd. (GFI), the fourth-largest producer of the metal, said earnings excluding one-time items fell to 3 rand rand a share in the three months to March from 3.68 rand in the previous quarter.
That compares with the median estimate of 2.69 rand a share by seven analysts surveyed by Bloomberg.
Gold Fields commented in a stock exchange statement today.
