MW:U.S. stock futures cut losses after jobless claims

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock-index futures erased the bulk of their losses Thursday after the government said its count of Americans filing for initial jobless benefits held unchanged at 370,000 last week. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJM2 -0.02% fell 9 points to 1,256. Futures for the S&P 500 SPM2 -0.24% declined 2.1 points at 1,320.30. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 NDM2 -0.29% dropped 5 points to 2,552.50.
