WS: Wheat and soybean futures rise on the CBOT; pork prices fall
CHICAGO — Grains futures were mixed in early trading Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for July delivery rose 2.50 cents to $6.26 a bushel; July corn fell 4.75 cents to $5.9675 a bushel; July oats were unchanged at $3.0575 a bushel; while July soybeans added 5.50 cents to $13.9150 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures also traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August live cattle slipped 0.05 cent to $1.1697 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.40 cent to $1.5660 a pound; while July lean hogs fell 0.77 cent to 93.75 cents a pound.
