CHICAGO — Grains futures mostly rose in early trading Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for July delivery rose 17.25 cents to $6.4750 a bushel; July corn rose 10.50 cents to $6.10 a bushel; July oats were unchanged at $3.16 a bushel; while July soybeans jumped 37.75 cents to $14.22 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August live cattle fell 0.27 cent to $1.1770 a pound; August feeder cattle fell 1.77 cent to $1.5435 a pound; while July lean hogs slipped 0.05 cent to 95.40 cents a pound.
