TORONTO-- The Canadian dollar weakened a bit Thursday morning after U.S. initial weekly jobless claims and domestic retail sales data.
In Canada, retail sales expectedly declined in April, falling 0.5% from the month prior. The market consensus was for a 0.2% increase.
