The official value of the shekel declined .09 percent, Thursday, against most of the currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.875, up .259 percent from Wednesday's rate, while the Euro rose .114 percent to 4.9189 shekels.
The pound remained at NIS 6.0857, while 100 Japanese yen fell .994 percent to 4.8421 shekels. The Canadian dollar rose .139 percent to NIS 3.808, while the Australian dollar was set at 3.9483 shekels, up .134 percent.
