NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Treasury prices erased an earlier decline in quiet trading Tuesday, with the only U.S. data set for release being on factory orders and ahead of an early close for bonds and stocks ahead of the July 4 holiday. Yields on 10-year notes 10_YEAR -0.19% , which move inversely to prices, gave up an earlier increase to sit little changed at 1.59%. "It's a short day in the U.S. with limited data," said bond strategists at CRT Capital Group. "We are simply stuck at these low yields and will hold at these low yields for, we suspect, several months to come."
