YEREVAN. – Just like on Monday, the US dollar’s average exchange rate against the Armenian Dram (AMD) comprised AMD 419/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Wednesday. And all trading was conducted with this exchange rate.
The total sales were $3.3 million.
The uncertainties remain in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market. As a result, there is a fairly huge margin between the US currency’s buying and selling exchange rates, which are AMD 416-421/$1 respectively.
And the Central Bank has set the exchange rate at AMD 418.66/$1.
