WSJ: Indian Rupee at One-Week High as Euro Soars; Bonds Slip

MUMBAI--The Indian rupee Thursday snapped a five-session losing streak to climb to its highest level against the U.S. dollar in a week, mirroring sharp advances in the euro as sentiment improved.
The dollar was at 55.53 rupees late Thursday, a level not seen since July 20 when it was at 55.32 rupees. Wednesday, the greenback had soared to 56.16 rupees.
