WSJ:OIL FUTURES: Crude Extends Losses in Asia; Weak China Data Weighs
Crude-oil futures extended losses in Asia Wednesday after relatively weak manufacturing data from China and as investors were less optimistic about stimulus measures from the U.S. Federal Reserve.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, light, sweet crude futures for delivery in September traded at $87.97 a barrel at 0632 GMT, down $0.09 in the Globex electronic session. September Brent crude on London's ICE Futures exchange fell $0.23 to $104.69 a barrel.
