MW: U.S. jobs data, central banks in focus

Wall Street is pointing higher on Wednesday after a report that U.S. companies added jobs in July and ahead of the Federal Reserve policy makers’ decision. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.4% and Nasdaq 100 futures rose 0.6%. European stock markets moved into positive territory Wednesday ahead of keenly awaited policy announcements from the European Central Bank, but weak manufacturing data and fresh Bundesbank comments kept the bulls in check. A number of Asian stock markets declined after data showed manufacturing activity deteriorated in several countries in the region.
