CHICAGO — Grain prices either fell or were flat Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for September delivery fell 11.75 cents to $8.7650 a bushel; December corn fell 4.25 cents to $8.01 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.8275 a bushel; while November soybeans fell 8 cents to $16.33 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle slipped 0.40 cent to $1.24 a pound; August feeder cattle added 0.58 cent to $1.3920 a pound; while October lean hogs fell 0.68 cent to 79.62 cents a pound.
