CHICAGO — Grain prices either rose or were flat Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery rose 11.50 cents to $8.87 a bushel; December corn rose 3.75 cents to $7.9925 a bushel; December oats were flat at $3.8250 a bushel; while November soybeans rose 6.75 cents to $17.29 a bushel.
Beef futures rose, while pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle rose 1.05 cent to $1.2480 a pound; October feeder cattle added 0.33 cent to $1.4480 a pound; while October lean hogs slipped 0.30 cent to 72.95 cents a pound.
