Spain has the sovereign right to decide whether it will seek a bailout from the eurozone, French President Francois Hollande said after talks in Madrid Thursday.
"It is Spain's sovereignty to decide, including the how and the when," the French leader told a joint news conference after talks with Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy.
The French leader also announced that Spain and France would hold a summit in Paris on October 10.
