The cost of borrowing dollars, euros and sterling for three months in the London interbank market fell Wednesday.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, or Libor, was 0.40985%, down from 0.41185% Tuesday.
The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and overnight index swaps, a barometer of market stress, fell to 28.3 basis points from 28.7 basis points.
The euro rate fell to 0.16643% from 0.16786%, while the sterling rate was lower at 0.67688% from 0.68000% Tuesday.
