MW:U.S. stock futures remain higher as Draghi speaks

By Kate Gibson
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock-index futures offered a largely positive reaction as European Central Bank President Mario Draghi detailed the ECB plan to launch an "outright monetary transaction" plan. Two separate reports on the U.S. labor market came in better than expected, with the weekly jobless claims and ADP reports drawing less focus than Draghi's press conference, which was still in process. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJU2 +0.48% were lately up 74 points at 13,1124. Futures for the S&P 500 index SPX -0.11% added 7.9 points to 1,411.4. Nasdaq 100 NDU2 +0.36% futures were ahead 14 points at 2,781.50.
