NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. financial stocks rose for a second day on Friday as investors bid up bank shares a day after the Federal Reserve's decision to provide another big dose of stimulus to the economy. Bank of America Corp BAC +3.09% was the big winner Friday, rising 1.7% and posting the second best performance on the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA +0.58% . Among the other Dow financials, J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. JPM +0.63% and Travelers Cos. TRV +0.38% rose, while American Express Co. AXP -0.08% shares fell. The Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF XLF +1.23% , which tracks the financial stocks in the S&P 500 SPX +0.66% , rose 1.1%.
