RTRS: Euro extends gains versus dollar, hits session high
(Reuters) - The euro extended its advance against the dollar to hit a session high in early trade on Monday as the Federal Reserve's aggressive monetary easing last week weighed on the U.S. currency.
The euro rose as high as $1.3165 on Reuters data, near a four-month high set last week. It was last at $1.3160, up 0.3 percent on the day.
