New Delhi: Copper prices moved up Rs 2 per kg in the local non-ferrous metals market today on increased industrial demand.
Traders said increased industrial demand and reports of a firming global trend mainly strengthen copper prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap added Rs 2 to Rs 397 per kg.
The following are metal rates per kg: Zinc ingot 109-113, nickel plate (4x4) 1,030-1,033, gun metal scrap 227, bell metal scrap 229, copper mixed scrap 397,chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 135, lead imported 133, aluminium ingots 127, sheet cutting 128, aluminium wire scrap 134 and aluminium utensils scrap 127.
