YEREVAN.- The average US dollar/ AMD exchange rate made AMD 405.84 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, Tuesday. US dollar went down by 0.38% or 1.53 AMD as compared to Monday.
The sales totaled $5.85 million. Most likely, the Central Bank of Armenia did not intervene in the exchange rate which resulted in US dollar devaluation.
The dollar is bought at the AMD 404/$1 and sold at the AMD 406.5/$1 in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market.
No drastic changes in euro and dollar exchange rates were registered in Forex international market. The US dollar comprises €1/$1.295.
