Led by Nickel, select copper and aluminium prices declined in a thin trading activity at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockist selling amidst lower industrial demand, despite higher London Metal Exchange (LME) cues.
The industrial metal rose on investors offtake following increased prospects that European Central Bank would offer fresh measures to bail out Spain.
Nickel fell by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,090 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 1,095.
Copper scrap heavy, copper armiture, copper sheet cutting, aluminium ingots and aluminium utensils scrap all softened by a rupee per kg each to Rs 476, Rs 466, Rs 461, Rs 142 and Rs 114 respectively.
