WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) - The government will issue the monthly report on U.S. employment at 8:30 a.m. Eastern. Economists surveyed by MarketWatch forecast the U.S. gained a net 110,000 jobs in September, compared to an initially reported 96,000 increase in August. The unemployment rate is expected to edge up to 8.2% from 8.1%, according to the MarketWatch survey.
