MY:Oil price for Indian basket falls to USD 107.53/bbl
The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as published today by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas fell to USD 107.53/barrel (bbl) on Nov. 01, 2012.
The price was lower than USD 107.80/bbl on Oct. 31, 2012.
In rupee terms also, crude oil price went down to Rs 5,782.96 per bbl on Nov. 1, 2012 as compared to Rs 5,834.14 per bbl on Oct. 31, 2012.
This was due to fall in price in dollar terms and rupee appreciation with rupee-dollar exchange rate on Nov. 01, 2012 at Rs 53.78 /USD against Rs 54.12 /USD on Oct. 31, 2012.
