MW: U.S. stock futures rally after strong jobs report

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures rallied on Friday, erasing modest losses after the Labor Department reported jobs data for November that was much better than economists expected. The U.S. added 146,000 jobs in November and the unemployment rate fell to 7.7%, the lowest level since December 2008, data showed. Down 22 points before the data, futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJZ2 -0.10% were lately up 51 points to 13,114. S&P 500 index futures SPZ2 +0.16% gained 5.70 points to 1,418.7; they were trading down 3.60 points before the jobs data. Nasdaq 100 futures NDZ2 -0.21% climbed 12.25 points, or 0.5%, to 2,666.2.
