By Tommy Stubbington
The cost of borrowing dollars or sterling for three months in the London interbank market was unchanged Thursday, while the euro rate declined.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, known as Libor, was 0.30500%, the same level as Wednesday.
The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and overnight index swaps, a barometer of market stress, widened to 16.9 basis points from 16.3 basis points Wednesday.
The sterling rate was steady at 0.51250%, while the euro rate eased to 0.12500% from 0.12857%.
