UPI: Crude oil tops $95 |

NEW YORK, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices rose in New York Thursday as winter weather and lower inventories combined to support pricing.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate crude oil for February delivery added $1.22 overnight to $95.43 per barrel.
On Wednesday, the Energy Information Administration said crude oil stockpiles had dropped by 1 million barrels to 360.3 million.
Gasoline added 3.59 cents to $2.7619 a gallon. Home heating oil lost added 1.02 cents cents to $3.0212 a gallon.
The price of natural gas dropped 1.8 cents to $3.421 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, AAA reported the national average price for regular unleaded gasoline dropped to $3.292 per gallon from Wednesday's $3.294.
