MW: U.S. Treasurys hold losses as home prices slip

FRANKFURT (MarketWatch) -- U.S. Treasurys remained slightly lower Tuesday, sending yields higher, after data showed U.S. home prices declined in November on seasonal weakness. The S&P/Case-Shiller 20-city composite home-price index fell by 0.1% after a 0.2% decline in October. The yield on the 2-year Treasury note 2_YEAR +1.74% was little changed at 0.29%, while the 10-year note yield 10_YEAR +0.25% rose less than a basis point to 1.97% and the 30-year bond yield 30_YEAR +0.16% rose by 1 basis point to 3.15%.
